The Importance of the Seller’s Disclosure on the Southlake, TX Real Estate Market

As many of you know, I co-host a real estate segment on KVCE am 1160 with regular host Willie Lambright every Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Recently, Willie and I were discussing the seller’s disclosure form and why it is so important to home sellers in the Southlake, Colleyville and Dallas-Ft. Worth areas.

In a nutshell, if home sellers are aware of a past problem with their Texas home, they need to disclose it on the seller’s disclosure form – even if they’ve fixed the problem already.

By doing so, you’re protecting yourself from any litigation down the road. You’re also making yourself more likely to get an offer on the home because many buyers will not make an offer until they have the seller’s disclosure in their hands.
