Don’t Miss the 22nd Annual DFW Restaurant Week: August 5th – September 1, 2019

There’s no better way to enjoy some of the finest restaurants in the DFW area and help two great charities at the same time.

DFW Restaurant Week kicks off on August 5th, 2019 with 140 of the best restaurants in the area participating by offering their amazing menu items at special pricing for the entire week.

If you want to be an overachiever, you can get a head start on the dining opportunities by taking advantage of the previews being offered from some of the restaurants — from August 2nd to the 4th — before the event starts officially.

Here’s a link to an alphabetical list of all the participating restaurants as well as more details on the dates for the events and a restaurant FAQ.

The bonus for the event is that two amazing charities will receive a sizeable portion of each purchase that’s made during restaurant week.

The first charity is the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB). Each day, the NTFB and its feeding network provide access to more than 190,000 meals for hungry children, seniors and families across the 13 counties they serve.

The second charity is the Lena Pope Chapel Hill Academy. Chapel Hill Academy provides a structured and innovative environment built on the belief that all children can excel, and their time at CHA is their first step toward a college degree. Through the power of a positive learning environment, the students are given a strong foundation that will prepare them for a future of success.

As a real estate agent in the greater DFW area for the last 25+ years, I’ve seen how communities have come together through events like restaurant week to help those who are less fortunate in our area.

Last year’s restaurant week was a huge success. Here is some data on what was accomplished by the event:

  • 140 restaurants participated |37 served a luncheon menu
  • Nearly 90,000 diners made reservations
  • A record-setting donation of nearly $800,000 was made to the beneficiaries

This year’s event is expected to do the same, if not better.

So, all you folks who own homes or rent property in the greater Dallas area, in and around Fort Worth, in Arlington and even in the areas just outside like Southlake, Keller, Carroll, Grapevine, Irving, Plano and everywhere in between…get a reservation for lunch or dinner at one of these amazing 140 restaurants.

You can get yourself a great meal and do something amazing to help those who are hungry and less fortunate get a meal, too.
